News & Updates – May 7, 2020

Dear Friends,

In this week’s News Bulletin, we are sharing some important resources, updates, and wishing you a very happy Mother’s Day!

NIDUS: Healthcare Consent in the News – COVID-19

Many of us have read or heard media reports about Ariis Knight who died recently in Peace Arch Hospital. SGSC is pleased to pass on this important information to you and your family and friends. BC has laws governing consent to health care and for planning in the event of incapacity, for end-of-life, and other support needs. These laws are important for any health crisis, including Covid-19. The Nidus Community Alert documents provide you with background on the issue, actions you can take, and planning tools to help you maintain your quality of life. Please follow this link to read the important information from NIDUS: http://southgranvilleseniors.ca/important-information-from-nidus-healthcare-consent-in-the-news-covid-19/
