The South Granville Seniors Centre works together with adults ages 55+ to support their well-being in ways that promote friendship, diversity and individual worth.

We are a non-profit community centre supporting healthy and independent lifestyles for local seniors in the South Granville/Fairview area since 1979. We have over 450 members; 80% are women over the age of 75. Many members are single or widowed, live on fixed income and at risk of isolation and depression due to reduced social interaction.

Our centre offers over 40 low-cost or free educational, recreational, social, and health-related wellness programs and services, as well as over 50 special events and outings each year. Over 400 members participate in activities every month and half use the centre at least once a week. We are supported by a large volunteer team with over 200 casual volunteers and over 100 regular volunteers.

We strive to foster a caring and inclusive community where seniors are connected and can find friendship and freedom from isolation.
