    Join us for an informative presentation, provided through the Seniors’ Health and Wellness Institute. Most older Canadians would prefer to stay in their homes as they age, but only one in four feel confident they will be able to do so. This workshop outlines the advantages, as well as the challenges, of aging in place. Nine aspects of daily living are considered to help participants evaluate how prepared they are to age in place.

    Fresh air, beautiful birds, and gorgeous nature! Join your friends, make new ones, and enjoy a tour of birdwatching at the George C. Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary. There will be restful seats along the way, and the path is wheelchair and walker accessible. Bring your binoculars or borrow from the gift shop! You can also grab some bird seed for $2 a bag. Price includes transportation and entry.

    Make sure to bring some water and a packed lunch for a group picnic!
